Note: Due to our move from overseas back to the States this summer I am a bit behind in Project Life. From now until the end of the year I will be playing "catch up" by posting two or more layouts in one post each week. You can expect to see the most current week as well as a week that I am behind on. Enjoy!
You're probably tired of hearing about it, but once again my printer is out. This time she is going back to the shop. She decided to die on before I was able to finish printing my title card and two photos for Week 27. The image you see below is what my title card will look like when it is complete. You can see in the full spread how I left a space for it in the upper left hand corner of the left side of the spread.
My Catch-up Week | Week 27
Products used this week include Design A Pocket Pages and a 6x12 American Traditions protector with three 4x6 pockets to hold a few extra photos. The Weekly Word Art Title is my own design. You can purchase the titles in my shop at this link. This week I used items from the Seafoam Collection of Project Life.
A "technique" (I guess that is what you would call it) that I like to do within my pages when the need should arise is break the page into sections when I want to include several photos from one event and keep them within "one area" of my layout. I did this using the 6x12 American Traditions protector this week. This insert has photos and a journal card that documents the Latvian Dance Fest we attended in July, just before moving back to the States. The above photo shows the insert with a journal card and two photos while the picutre below shows two more photos on the other side of the insert.

I attached a tab from October Afternoon to the inside of a bi-fold journal card. The envelope is from a Project Life Subscription Kit by Studio Calico. Inside are some information cards about the jewelry shop, Baltu Rotas, and what the Latvian symbols mean that are incorporated into some of their jewelry.
You know me...I love to make my pages interactive to hide journaling! This week's layout was no exception!
My Current Week | Week 43

Week 43 is totally digital. This week I used digital products from the Seafoam Core Edition of Project Life and the Midnight Edition, too. I used Becky's digital templates in Designs A & J. Keep scrolling through the photos to get to my comments about this layout.

I know I've mentioned it before, but I really like the Midnight Edition of Project Life. I find that it is a very easy kit to combine elements from another kit with (in this case Seafoam).
My favorite story of my layout this week has to be our trip to the Dog Beach at Ft. DeSoto in St. Petersburg. Zoe wasn't up to making friends with the larger dogs on the beach, but she did hit it off with Penelope. Little Penelope is only 5 months old and was hit by a car a few months back. She had to have her left hind leg amputated. But she didn't let that stop her one bit! She was running up and down the beach, in and out of the water. So, so sweet. Zoe had a blast in the sand, chasing her ball. She's never gone swimming, so I waded out with her in the Gulf just a few feet, dropped her in and watched her paddle back to show. Love her!
My Project Life pages are also being linked up at TheMomCreative. Jessica Turner, owner, has graciously provided a place for Project Life enthusiasts to link and share their pages. Check out her blog for some great inspiration! In addition, on Saturdays, I'm sharing my layouts over at Simple As That and My Sister's Suitcase. Thank you to Rebecca & Nat & Holly for providing space on your blogs to allow others to share their creativity and passion for Project Life as well!
Have a great week!
