Dear Friends :: "My Christmas Planner" is no longer available as a freebie or for purchase in my shoppe. Why??? Because it is now an online class at Scrapaneers.com! The planner has been updated to include 3-month calendars for the 2014/15, 2015/16, and 2016/17 holiday seasons, making this a 3-year planner! The recipe section was slightly modified and I added a decorating section to the planner as well! There is even a Hanukkah version of the planner! It's that time of year again. Halloween is over and our thoughts are now turning to Thanksgiving and Christmas. Trying to find a balance between work, our children's holiday activities, social engagements, shopping, baking, wrapping and sending Christmas cards, can be enough to bring out the "bah humbug" in the best of us. So what's a girl to do?
"Keep Calm and Stay Organized!"
And to help you do just that, I have an awesome, awesome Christmas Planner for you!
I've made two of these for Christmas in years past, but this by far is the best yet, and one that I will definitely be adding more elements to in the future. Let's take a peek, shall we?
Here is the front cover. I chose not to add any embellishments. It is a book that is meant to used. So I figured the less bling, less chance of things getting damaged or falling off!
This is the cover page:
Page one and Calendar Section Divider:
Calendar Section Divider and Calendars: There are three calendar pages, November 2013, December 2013 & January 2014. I will provide updated calendars for 2014-15 when the season rolls around again next year!
And check these out! Calendar Markers. The kit includes an 8.5x11 sheet of 60 Calendar Markers that you can punch out with a 3/4" circle punch and add them to your calendar. If you want to add them digitally to your calendar, there are png files for you to use instead!
Address Section Divider and Christmas Card address list:
Use the "Our Christmas Letter" page to mount the letter you send to your family and friends:
Mount an extra card that you sent to the "Our Christmas Card" page (below, left side). On the right, the "Sending Christmas Cheer" card was created for you to mount this year's Christmas stamps to. Slip a 4x6 family Christmas photo in the pocket below the 3x4 filler cards.
Gift List Section Divider and Gift Ideas List. Print out a card for each person on your gift list, fill out the information and mount a photo of the person in the upper right hand corner of the card (a psd file with a photo placeholder is included of this page for digital scrappers to clip a photo if they choose to do so). Now you have a GREAT reference tool to remember his/her clothing sizes, interests and restaurants!
Master Gift List page on the left side allows you to keep track of what has been wrapped and mailed (if needed). On the right hand side, journal card is there for you to use at your leisure, or you can slip a photo of your gift-wrapping station! The 4x6 "That's A Wrap" Card is meant for you to mount samples of your Christmas wrapping paper to.
Cookie Recipes Section Divider and recipe card. How many of you have your Christmas Cookie Recipes dog-eared in magazines that are yellowing and falling apart? Keep them all in one place in your organizer! Use the filler cards or slip a photo of the cookie in one of the 3x4 pockets that go along with the recipe!
There are even filler cards to mark which cookie is your child's (or husband's) favorite. Have a cookie recipe that is extra special? Explain why on the "This is a very special recipe because..." journal card.
There is even a 6x8 recipe card for those extra long recipes (a psd file with a photo placeholder is included of this page for digital scrappers to clip a photo of the cookie if they choose to do so)!
Did you know that small envelopes from Becky Higgins will fit in the SN@P albums? I put one in the back of my album to keep extra filler cards, recipe cards and those little Calendar Markers!
Wondering how to get your hands on a digital kit? Wonder no more! I am making this kit available to you as a free download very a limited time. Today through Saturday, November 9 (11:59pm EST) you can click on the download link(s) below and it's yours! After that, it will become available for purchase in my shop.
This kit is no longer available as a free download.
I used the following products to make My Christmas Planner:
SN@P! Chipboard Inserts (The binder only comes with 3. You need 4 for the planner).
Matte photo paper
Note: The divided 3x4 and 4x6 pages in the SN@P! protectors are slightly larger than a true 3x4 & 4x6 measurement. My files are TRUE to size so they can easily fit into both SN@P! and Becky Higgins' Pocket Protectors!
Enjoy this planner! Make it useful and show some love with a "pin" on Pinterest and a "Like" on my Facebook FanPage!
