Hello Week 44. After several weeks of creating multiple spreads for one week, a standard double-page spread was a welcome change!
This week's spread uses the Digital Project Life Template A and products from the Midnight, Seafoam and Clementine Core Kits. I also purchased the Halloween Theme Kit to use in this layout.
Week 44 was the week of Halloween. Looking through blogs and galleries of those layouts with photos of Project Lifer's with kids dressed in their costumes made me miss when my boys were little. Dressing Zoe up as a ladybug made me feel better!
Product used: From the Midnight Kit–background paper, polka-dot paper behind word art title. From the Clementine Kit–flag banner under Zoe's instagram photo. Halloween Theme Kit–Journal and filler cards (note: I used the selection tool to select the pumpkin from a 3x4 filler card in the Halloween Kit and placed it on the 4x6 filler card in the lower left-hand corner).
This week also had a full moon. It's amazing to see Mother Nature at work along the Gulf Coast during a full moon. When the tide is low, it is really, really low. So low that birds walk in the areas where manatees usually feed!
Product used: From the Midnight Kit–background paper. From the Clementine Kit–word art (I altered some of the colors), orange arrows. Halloween Theme Kit–graph journal cards. From the Seafoam Kit: the yellow journal card.
That's it! Super simple layout mixing three different core kits!
My Project Life pages are also being linked up at TheMomCreative. Jessica Turner, owner, has graciously provided a place for Project Life enthusiasts to link and share their pages. Check out her blog for some great inspiration! In addition, on Saturdays, I'm sharing my layouts over at Simple As That and My Sister's Suitcase. Thank you to Rebecca & Nat & Holly for providing space on your blogs to allow others to share their creativity and passion for Project Life as well!
Have a great week!
