This is it! This is what I've "been cooking up" during the month of June. This is the reason things have been a little quiet around here (that is soooo going to be changing). This is the first class in a new series of organization classes exclusively at Scrapaneers.com using traditional and digital pocket-style pages. This is
I am so excited about this class, that I could just burst! Don't deny it. You know you have recipes all over the place. They are on your fridge, in kitchen drawers or folded up in books. You have recipes printed from your favorite cooking websites, recipe cards from your grandmother and recipes scribbled on scrap paper. It's time to get them organized all in one place and this class will help you do just that!
K.I.T.–Recipes is a self-paced workshop designed with the hybrid or digital Project Life enthusiast in mind. The class kit participants receive is extremely customizable. Every card, digital paper and element comes in 8 colors and the design is so clean & modern! Let me show you around the kit and tell you a bit more:
The papers :: Subway tile is all the rage when it comes to backsplashes in the kitchen these days! I really wanted for it to be pattern for this kit. Colors are–Tomato, Squash, Pumpkin, Mushroom, Icebox (I couldn't think of a gray food!), Eggplant, Blueberry and Avocado. This paper looks great in horizontal or vertical format. Choose one color for your entire album, or categorize your sections by color. Totally up to you!
The Recipe Cards :: So many sizes to choose from! The 5.5x8.5 are perfect for those using an 8.5x11 album or template. The 6x12 and 8.5x11 cards have an open space for a photo. The 4x6 sizes have plain lined cards to accompany the recipe card. Although they aren't shown in the preview above, each card comes in all 8 colors!
The Filler Cards :: The above image doesn't even put a dent into the amount of filler cards that are included in the kit. There are well over 150 cards. Each 3x4 and 4x6 card design comes in the 8 colors of the kit!
The Templates, Badges & Titles :: Again, there is waaaayyyy too much stuff in this kit to put into a preview! But the above image gives you a taste (pun totally intended) of the other goodies that you'll get! There are 27 section titles for you to choose from so you can totally customize your album to the types of recipes you have. The square badges you see up in the corner are meant to be used as a way to mark your recipes so you don't forget which are low salt, sugar free, etc. There are 13 different "descriptors" each in all 8 colors. And then there are the templates. With 15 12x12 templates and six 8.5x11 templates, you are sure to create a recipe album that is worthy of sitting on a shelf at Barnes & Noble!
Also included are 5 videos and detailed handouts with tips on how to put your recipe album together.
