I don't think I could create this 2015 December Daily album without mentioning the Paper Source Llamas. These little guys made came into my life a few months back as part of the 2015 Paper Source Christmas Collection. We have very large windows at the store in Tampa, and as one of the employees in charge of putting the window displays together and hanging them, you can say me and the llamas became very close. They were so time-consuming (you have no idea). So many pieces and parts. But once they were assembled and hung, the response at the store has been great! Everyone loves a llama! Read on:
Aside from the red number and page protectors, I didn't use any products from the December Daily kits in this layout.
The "Dec" tag is one I had in my own supplies. I believe it is from Creative Imaginations (from a looong time ago!). The strip of paper at the bottom of the journal card is something I cut out from the Paper Source Catalog!
I trimmed off two rows from one of the 12-pocket page protectors. I typed out the "FA-LA-LA Llama" greeting in Photoshop and printed it on 4x6 double-sided matte paper, cut it in 2" squares and then slipped them into the pockets.
On the back side of those little squares, I punched 1" circles and attached them to the cards. The 4x6 photo is not in a protector. I snapped a close-up of one of the llamas in our store window.
On the other side of that 4x6 photo I placed a pic of the Happy Llamakkah llama! Isn't he cute? The big 6x8 "photo" is actually cut from the cover of one of the Paper Source catalogs.
Super simple layout with lots of color. That's it for the 9th of December! Today I am decorating my tree. You can imagine what tomorrow's post will be!
